Things you should know about New Vietnam Visa Policy release on August 15th, 2023

On August 15th, Vietnam government will issue E-Visa (90 days – multiple entries) that allows foreigners to have longer stays in Vietnam. This new regulation will also announce some extension Visa Exemption policy. For detail information, you can read these notes below:

- The validity of the e-Visa will be extended from 30 days to 90 days.

- Multiple-entry e-Visas will be available. This means that you will be able to enter and exit Vietnam multiple times on a single e-visa.

- The list of countries eligible for the e-Visa will be expanded to 157 countries. More countries will be eligible to apply for an e-Visa, making it easier for people from all over the world to visit Vietnam.

- The new visa policy will not affect the visa exemption policy. Citizens of countries that are currently eligible for visa exemption will still be able to enter Vietnam without a visa. In case, they want to stay longer than the Visa exemption period, they can apply for the e-Visa.

- Citizens of countries with unilateral Vietnam visa exemption have 15 days Visa Exemption will be changed into 45 days visa-free.

- Citizens from countries which are not eligible for the e-Visa can apply for the Visa on arrival or Visa at Vietnam Embassy
